The roof could be added but on a seperate layer in the model that can be truned on & off as required.

There are a couple of a slight problems with putting a roof on:

The model is intended to show the RIM internals, and the MoD drawings are hopeless when it comes to the actual roof dimensions. ;)

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Interior structure walls and raised floors in place where required, front annexe basic structure built.
Starting to knock holes through for windows and doors now.

I'm puzzling over the servicing bay seen in the upper left corner of the hangar.
This had two 1-ton overhead gantries running from the ends of the stub walls to the hangar wall, but I don't know whether they ran from the top of the walls (so 10' off the ground) or were slung from the underside of the roof framework...

Looks good Paul.

1 ton gantries could possibly be hung frm the gantries but the walls would be a much better choice.
