Just joined the forum, old and grey now but joined up in 1964 served just under 40 years man & boy. specialist subject GSE and MT maintenance;

hope I can make some valuable contributions. :roll:

Welcome Ted, I am sure you can make some excellent contributions. Interesting about the Middlesex number plate and the connection with the Uxbridge Depot.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

we need someone with your line of knowledge in GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and MT (Motor Transport). There are an increasing number of 'what's this' in some of the threads.

Hi guys, my name is Pete, spent 12yrs in mob from 81-93 as an L Mech/Tech AF, so may be able to help with any Ground Radio/Radar queries you get (after 16yrs could be bit rusty!!!!) Generally hacked off with the lack of respect shown for our airfields and that they(?) can't seem to bulldoze them into the history books fast enough.
