Hi All,
I am interested in researching the wartime career of my late father, George edward(Ted) Herod. He was posted to RAF Graveley as part of 35 squadron patfinder force and flew as a w/op in lancasters. He acheived the rank of flt/lt and was awarded the DFC. If any member has any info on 35 Squadron or Graveley they would like to share I would be grateful. My thanks in anticipation.

Hello everyone. Great site Thanks Richard for the invite. I’m Mark Brotherton retired US Air Force. I spent 15 years in the UK and my interest is writing and the 8th Air Force. I used to host the 8thcontrails website but lost it due to so many turn over’s in owners. Most of my collection has been posted to Fred Preller’s 8th Home page at mighty8thaf.preller.us/

I’m now working as a Civil Servant at Robins AFB Georgia, USA. Glad to be on the site but still trying to figure out how to upload.
