Thanks Paul I think a bit of guessing is needed for these huts.

Measuring these 2 huts on site 1 bear out your sizes Paul.

Quick and nasty due to simply texturing the roof panels for now:

Here's the start of my current project which is going to take some time as I need to get hold of all the building plans, this is the Technical site for RAF Desborough.

Currently on the plan I have Stanton shelters, blast shelters MT office & the main Sub station all courtesy of Paul Bellamy the rest are mine which are the Watch Office, 4 Bay MT Shed, Fire Tender Shelter, Flight & Squadron Offices T2 & B1 Hangars.

Following on from this photo in the Thorpe Abbots thread:

I was working on the WT Instruction Building at Deenethorpe and noticed it was the same basic design 7352/42.
It would seem that at some point during construction it wasn't built as a radar workshop, either intentionally or because it was realised that the line of sight through the perspex radar window would have been blocked by adjacent structures.
The lintel for the large radar window was installed as per the original design, but the same 3'x3' window as fitted in the rest of the building was put in instead:

A Seco 5697/43 radar workshop was built at the other end of the technical site.

So, here's how the building was built at Deenethorpe, without the porchway to the radar room. Oddly this doorway has no lintel. Stovepipes and doors still to be added:

And how it would have looked if built as the drawing originally specified:

I'll have a play with the basic model to replicate the Thorpe Abbots example, and eventually the one at Framlingham where by 1945 an annexe topped with H2X radomes led off from the original sighting window:

buccaneer66, when you get around to 'filling' your bomb store, the area at the end of each store enclosed by the road and end traverse was intended to store bomb Tail Units. These were usually in boxes or slatted crates and covered in tarpaulins so you could take the easy way out!

Paul, your images look almost photographic, nice job! Now, when you've got a spare couple of weeks you can come and teach me how to do it.....:)
